Working as a bookkeeper and office manager over the course of 15+ years I learned quite a bit about business, some good, and some not so good. I will always be grateful for my time working in the world of bookkeeping, helping other business owners manage their company and their finances, because without those years I would not have the knowledge and experience I can offer today. While reflecting on my career one day I realized that rather than working for one employer to help mainstream his or her books I could instead offer my services to multiple business owners by becoming an independent contractor. With that new found knowledge, and with the support of my family, I decided it was time to do for myself what I had done for others over the past twenty years, which was to become a successful business owner. With my existing bookkeeping knowledge I began working towards my QuickBooks certification and continued upgrading my education with online webinars, classes, tutorials, and seminars. Now, with the years of bookkeeping and business management experience I have gained, along with the education I have received and continue to pursue, I am the owner and President of Bookkeeping Solutions.
